La esquizofrenia, no es una sola enfermedad.

Cada vez más encaminados hacia un diagnostico más eficaz y objetivo en el campo de la psiquiatría. En especifico este estudio pone un poco de orden en ese cajon de sastre que es la esquizofrenia, definiendo varios grupos en función de los SNPs. Un gran trabajo que no hubiera sido posible sin los avances en técnicas moleculares de secuenciación de nueva generación y el posterior análisis computacional de los datos (entre otros). Así que ya sabéis a perder el miedo a las moléculas y las consolas.

Lucy is a shit, Transcendence is another one. Why? Because they take a lot of myths about the brain to try to entertain to the public like that we only use the 10% of our brain "power" (if anybody knows what the hell is this). OK, OK, you can say that is fiction and that they can do whatever they want. But the problem in a scientific way is that this "hollywood" behavior help to sustains all this lies in the population mind increasing the ignorance level.

In the other hand, this days the neuroscience results are awesome, is perfectly compatible make nice movies with a high respect for the science background. Examples of this are Paprika, Ghost in the Shell, Inception, etc.
